The Leigh web site - his web site has been created by a small team of volunteers, set up by the Parish Council as a result of a survey of villagers, to promote the village and its activities.
The initial aim of this web site is to provide information which will be of interest to residents, but as the site expands it will also be of interest to anyone who is planning to visit the area, or considering moving to the area.

Leigh Cricket Club near Tonbridge in Kent has a long and illustrious history.  Founded sometime around 1700, it is one of the world's oldest clubs and originates from an area which formed the birthplace of cricket.  The club is fortunate to have retained its place at the heart of village life, enjoying a traditional village green setting amongst oak and  horse-chestnut trees and attractive cottages.

Leigh Rugby Football Club was established during the euphoria of the 2003 Rugby World Cup.
Today we have a growing membership of new players from around the Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks districts. New players are always welcomed and are encouraged to pay a visit to the Bat & Ball pub where you are bound to find a 'Layabout' who will introduce you to the club.
