Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our Covent Garden venue, including booking tables, group events, private hire, live sports schedules, and venue accessibility. Can we stay after the games?
Absolutely! We have seating and three bar areas where you are more than welcome to move over to enjoy some food and drinks.
Do you have a dress code?
We operate a dress code policy from 7pm. Our policy is as follows: no tracksuit bottoms, sports shorts and gym wear; no hats; no tradesmen wear, reinforced boots, work boots or shoes.

Do you offer private hire and are there hire fees?
Yes we offer private hire. You can find out more information regarding our spaces https://www.thebatandball.com/party-bookings/covent-garden. We do not charge room hire fees, our private spaces are hired with a minimum spend requirement. Minimum spends vary depending on the time and date of booking. Do you show live sports?
Yes we do! We have 27 HD screens and can show up to 3 different games at a time. You can see what games we show https://www.thebatandball.com/live-sport/covent-garden.
How big are your karaoke booths?
Our karaoke booths can host up to 30 and 16 guests at a time. They are private rooms powered by Lucky Voice with over 25,000 songs to choose from!
Is there disabled access?
Yes, we have disabled access. We have an elevator, as well as a disabled toilet on the lower floor.
What games do you have?
We offer ping pong, beer/prosecco pong, pool, interactive darts and karaoke. Please see prices https://www.thebatandball.com/games-locations/covent-garden.
When is peak and off-peak?
Peak times are from 5pm Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and all day Saturdays and Sundays. We also operate peak pricing during the Christmas period, and any major events or sporting events.
What is your age policy?
We operate Challenge 25. Under 18’s are welcome in the venue up until 7pm – they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. From 7pm we operate an 18+ policy. You must provide a physical form of a valid government approved ID for entry. On Thursdays-Sundays and during special events from 6pm all ID will be scanned at the door on arrival.
How many ping pong tables will I get?
For groups of up to 20 guests, you will be allocated one ping pong table only.
Do you sell gift vouchers?

Do you have a cloakroom?
Unfortunately we do not have a cloakroom.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Please inform the team prior to arrival so we can ensure we can cater to any dietaries. Please note due to the nature of our kitchen, we cannot 100% guarantee there is no risk of cross contamination.
Can I pre-order food and drinks?
Absolutely, we highly recommend pre-ordering food and drink prior to arrival so that everything is ready and there is no hassle on the day. You can pre-order food and drink directly during the booking process, or via the link in your confirmation email.
Can I eat and play at the same time?
Yes – we offer lots of delicious finger food designed so that you can eat and play at the same time.
Can I bring other food and drink into the venue?
Unfortunately we do not allow external food and drink (with the exception of a cake).
Can I just walk-in and play?
We highly recommend booking in advance, but we do welcome walk-ins.
Are you dog friendly?
Yes we are dog friendly up until 8pm.
Can I book multiple games?
Of course! We highly recommend booking these in advance to avoid disappointment.
